Eyes
Testing testing! I didn’t know too precisely what kind of a look I was aiming for, a beautiful satin deep blue eye shadow from Boho Green intrigued me so I went for that (this particular shade is called „Nuit”) along with a black kohl pencil and a black liner from Benecos.
I started with the eyes as when you’re working with powder eye shadow a bit of dropping on could happen on your freshly blended foundation and that’s just useless extra work so eyes first and foundation after.
Pay off was pretty good, the color is not too build-able though and has some glitter in it (satin finish). If well-blended it doesn’t crease, in spite of all that, don’t know why but I was expecting something more intense and vivid by the look of the pot.
The black kohl pencil from Benecos is absolutely wonderful! Super soft, creamy and black as the night, a real treat, the same for the black eyeliner (the little wand could be a bit more elongated and thin for my taste for more precision but the product itself is very satisfying!) well done to this German brand, I really like a lot of their products!
For mascara I used a blue one from Boho Green, I’d say a mini mascara as it’s twice as short as a regular one in size. Very good quality, in day light you can actually see the color, else you really need an expensive professional camera and lights and exposure to make it happen. Good product though, again not great, but I’d def use it again!
On top of that blue I dabbed a bit of creamy copper glitter from Alverde, another german brand so that I cheer a bit up the center of the lids.
To have my eyebrow in place I used an Alverde eyebrows gel, unexpectedly good, it wouldn’t have been the same without it!

Lips
Red lip pencil from Benecos (very nice on its own actually!) and a vivid red lipstick called „It’s just Red” Just red but has a beautiful texture so I put 3 coats of that, blotting each time.

Skin
I gave myself a bit of a pampering before the make-up. I started with dry skin brushing, after that I used some ozone therapy (steam), then a nice gommage with a mix of seeds and algae and a nice goji berry day moisturizer (Alverde) for normal to dry skin.
For foundation I used a Cover&Stay foundation from Alverde, just a very thin layer mainly around my mouth and on my chin area, it might be a degree too light but yet, the next best shade would be too dark so the best would be to mix the lighter one with a darker tone, just a tiny tiny bit. I used the foundation as a concealer as well. Too bad that the foundation range is not too generous but hey, they are at the beginning of a beautiful adventure as a cruelty free organic brand so they’ve got all my understanding and support!
The product that I loved the most was a Lavera highlighter! Pay off is excellent, small amount and building up slowly if you’re aiming for a very glowing look!
Bottom line, I loved the German brands (Lavera, benecos, Alverde) you could really do beautiful looks with their products, super affordable, value for money and I’ve noticed they do tend to have more and more shades and products!
Hope you find this post helpful, à très vite :)
